Seafront apartment in Naples Chiaia — solar glazing and stainless steel hardware

A 110 sqm fourth-floor apartment in Chiaia with a direct sea view. Eight windows were replaced with Salamander GreenEvolution 76 profiles in a white finish, Maco hardware with stainless steel components for resistance to salt air, and Pilkington Suncool selective solar glazing (solar factor g 0.33) to limit summer overheating. A measured indoor temperature reduction of 4.5°C was recorded during peak summer hours without active air conditioning.

Penthouse in Oltrarno, Florence — replacement of 12 windows

A 140 sqm penthouse in Oltrarno (Florence) subject to heritage protection constraints. Ten windows were replaced with Salamander GreenEvolution 76 PVC in a walnut-effect finish (panelled layout matching the original design), plus 2 LMT 91 aluminium lift-and-slide French doors opening onto the terrace. Coordination with the Heritage Authority (Soprintendenza) for finish approval.

Semi-detached house in Bologna Savena — complete energy retrofit

A 1970s semi-detached house in the Savena district of Bologna. A complete retrofit: 22 BlueEvolution 72 PVC windows with low-emissivity double glazing (Ug 1.1) and Maco RC2 hardware, paired with Somfy motorised aluminium shutters with integrated Z-Wave home automation. A documented 41% reduction in heating consumption was recorded in the first heating season.

Retrofit of 48 residential units in a 1960s apartment block in Milan's Isola district. All windows were replaced with Salamander GreenEvolution 76 PVC, low-emissivity double glazing, and anti-break-in hardware. The works were coordinated with the building manager and designer to optimise tax incentives.

Villa in the Turin hills — triple glazing and lift-and-slide doors

A 220 sqm villa in Borgo Po (Turin hills, climate zone E, north-west facing). 18 windows were replaced with Salamander BlueEvolution 82 plus 4-12-4-12-4 triple glazing with double low-emissivity argon fill, Uw 0.9 W/m²K. Three LMT 92 aluminium lift-and-slide doors onto the garden, up to 3.2×2.3 m. Made-to-measure supply with technical documentation for installation to UNI 11673.
